[draft]
Philadelphia 29 Augt 1792
My dear Lucy I received your esteemed favor of the 22d. I thank you for it and all your other kindnesses. I have also received Lucys by the same post and the same date - Tell her I love her with all the strength she could desire and that my love is an abundant source of forgetfulness of a thousand little lapses. I have slept this morning being sleepless the first part of the night until the verge of the departure of the post. I continue entirely well - My absence has thrown too much business on a short space. Let us live to love, and let us elevate and cheer each other through this world God bless you all
Your entirely
