Nathanael Greene, as clerk, compiles a chart listing the original proprietors of the Muscongus land, the heirs of those people or those who purchased the land, and finally the persons now holding the land.

It is unclear whether this letter's author is the Nathanael Greene (1742-1786) who would subsequently become an American General. However, it seems unlikely, as preliminary research suggests the future general was in the Rhode Island General Assembly during this period and not working as a clerk in Boston.
