Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Appears to be a statement on Thomas Flucker's account with Joseph and Samuel Foster through 20 November 1798 to 27 March 1799. The Fosters signed they received payment from Henry Knox on 30 April 1799 at the bottom of the document.
