My dear John:
There we are going to see you grandfather today. Prehaps it is the last time I can ever go to see him.
I have sent sent $24 dollars to your fraternity.
Your mother has had only one letter from you none coming this week.
I hope you are giving a lot of thought to your work, and making the best coporal in the camp. I am sure you can if you will only apply youself. We want you to keep want you to keep on being a good boy,
