At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 75,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World to soldiers’ letters from World War II and Vietnam. Summary of Content: George Badcock and Henry Tucker have asked the township's permission to build a grist mill. After examining the records of the township and on consultation with Benjamin Hammond's survey, it is determined that title to the land is clear. Attested as a true copy signed as Clerk of the Township of Dartmouth.
