Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

A list of eight individuals to whom Livingston owes bonds with interest, totalling £1225 15 shillings 5 pence. In addition, he also owes £619 16 shillings 2 pence in bonds without interest, for a total of £1845 11 shillings 7 pence in monies owed.
