Margaret writes to ask her father to forward the contents of her letter to Gov. Hunter, who has failed to respond to her husband's complaints and inquiries. The letter gives a full account of Samuel Vetch's grievances against the "malice" of Genrall Nicholson. According to Samuel and Margaret Vetch, Nicholson broke into their house without a proper warrant, made numerous attempts to prevent Vetch from traveling to England, and unlawfully delayed payment due to Vetch for the maintenance of a garrison at Annapolis Royall. Margaret then asks that her father get Gov. Hunter to intervene on their behalf. Docketed on address leaf.
