At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. Summary of Content: Stevenson explains that he has been slow in repaying his debts due to hard times and the scarcity of money. However, he notes that he is hopeful that the particularly fine quality of the crops at the moment will change his situation, and he therefore requests that Robert, Jr. extend him some more credit.
