Dear Sam:
I came here by invitation to deliver an Address before the Quill Club last Tuesday evening. I believe it was a success. I return tomorrow. I sat again for the artist - he expects to paint the ? next month. I am stopping at the Hotel Brestin. I am writing this in the Law Office where Spottswood is employed. He will call on you when you come here.

Yours Truly
