Ford writes to Friscat and offers a personally meaningful quote, Proverbs 3:5,6, "Trust in the Lord...and He shall direct thy path." Ford had the Bible open to this page when he was sworn in as president.

Dear Mr. Friscat:

Thank you for your letter and for your kind comments.

One of the most meaningful quotations to me is the passage to which I had the Bible opened when I was sworn in as President.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
