Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Graham discusses plans to convene an International Congress on World Evangelization in Europe in August or September of 1974. He asks Bishop Hunt for financial and personnel aid, and to join the world-wide convening committee. He makes reference to spending time in Florida with his wife, Ruth, the Berlin Congress on Evangelism in 1966, and others held throughout the world.
