Stanton writes to the Reverend Chapin, a collaborator on the project, to discuss some of the logistics concerning publishing the "Women's Bible," including how to print and release it, getting critiques of each persons contribution, deciding what is to be included, and deciding what illustrations to use. For the book, she wants the best female scholars dealing with biblical criticism from different religious perspectives to give "their opinions on women's position in the Bible and of the authority and inspiration of its teachings."
