Moe played baseball, and heard from Marge who told him the family knew of his whereabouts. He instructs Sylvia to tell Bess he'll write a real letter soon. He jokes that she is becoming quite the beer critic. He briefly discusses why they went to war and he says if they hadn't all hope for future generations would have been lost.
