One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated April 13, 1945. Writes his parents that he received a bunch of letters the past few days. He has plans to go to the movies and is glad to hear that Susan and Raymond enjoyed the movie they attended recently. He received letters from Mary, Margurite Graeff, Dottie Erickson and Dotty Runk. Mary sent a photo of herself dressed up for Easter. Margurite mentioned Mildred Hettriger and her husband getting a new apartment and that Floyd Hutton's son (possibly Seward Hutton) is entering the Merchant Marines. Leonard mentions the food on base and the bakery that provides some sort of pastry every meal. He also mentioned Mrs. Hoover and her comments about Dottie and Malinda Graeff's trouble keeping quality renters at her house.
