One letter from William S. Robinson and Harriet L. Robinson to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated October 27, 1973. The Robinsons support the impeachment of President Nixon. They mention the Vietnam War and Cambodia, the I.T.T. antitrust case, the illegal use of Internal Revenue Service for partisan purposes, and income tax evasion. They write, "No other American citizen would be permitted to pursue such a course without trial, and no leader in any other democratic country in the world would be permitted to remain in office with such a record."

I.T.T. refers to the International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation. They was dealing with anti-trust issues prior to a $400,000 donation to Nixon's Committee to Reelect the President (CREEP). After the donation the legal trouble was settled. There is evidence that Nixon personally intervened in the issue.

President Nixon, Special Counsel Charles Colson and his assistant George T. Bell Created and compiled a list of political enemies, often called "Nixon's Enemies List." This list was used to inconvenience those listed using tax audits from the Internal Revenue Service, and by manipulating grant availability, federal contracts, litigation, and prosecution.

The Cambodian campaign was a series of military operations conducted in eastern Cambodia during 1970 by the United States and the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) as an extension of the Vietnam War and the Cambodian Civil War. The invasions were a policy of President Richard Nixon; 13 major operations were conducted by the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) between 29 April and 22 July and by US forces between 1 May and 30 June.
