One Wire photograph released by International News Photos dated August 12, 1957. Shows a group of people walking down the steps of a monument. The attached press release reports that Communist boss Nikita Khrushchev and members of the Russian delegation touring East Germany were visiting the memorial before leaving. The memorial is at the Soviet commentary at Treptow and features a Russian liberator breaking a swastika with his sword and holding a child. The photo is stamped on the back with the date and International News Photos information.
