Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Joe reports that the stores are getting some reputation and Geo. O'Brien is getting transferred into the law division. He wonders how Moe will handle getting orders from his wife after being a Sgt. He mentions that he has been asked to spend 20% of September's pay on bonds.
