Includes the abbreviation "Coun." after his name, possibly a contraction for Councilor. He will be one of the original Councilors for the Royal Province of New Hampshire, when the province is formed in 1680. Written and signed by Dalton as Town Clerk of the town of Hampton in the Colony of Massachusetts.
