The Lieutenant Governor, Council, and General Assembly of New York address the Queen to acquaint her with the preparations they have made for the expedition to reduce Canada; and also to inform her of any necessary repairs and assistance. They state that the construction of ships, forts, and store houses began immediately and with great success. However, they also note that New York is dangerously low on funds and resources due to their great expenditures on securing the frontier and victualling people. They therefore ask that the Queen recognize the efforts they have made and provide them with adequate assistance. Pages 9 and 10 contain a list of 8 items to be inserted into the address.
