Printed by the Coast Survey Office, compiled by Nicholson, and lithographed by Charles G. Krebs. Depicts eastern Virginia, Maryland and Delaware with portions of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Shows rail lines, rivers, and other features in color. This item accompanied the commission of Brig. Gen. Nathaniel C. McLean (see GLC01740.01). Printed under the authority of Alexander Dallas Bache, superintendent of the United States Coast Survey Office.
