Executive Order 9066 was issued by Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19, 1942 forcing the relocation of 110,000 to 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry into war zones after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
National Japanese American Student Relocation Council was created to assist relocated students to find school to continue their college education.
