Summary of Content: Partially printed certificate to pay Valnais, Joseph Dupas de Valnais, a French consul. Signed by the Comte de Barras, and [Graucheau], major of the squadron under Barras. On verso, Valnais signs a note, transferring the money to William Knox. Serves as reimbursement for provisions and supplies for Barras's squadron.
