Convicted of embezzling money from the post office; sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and to pay a $3454.78 fine. Pardoned for his "...good character, pliable nature, poverty, the punishment already suffered, and the fact that his bondsmen have paid in a large portion of the money taken...".
