Jamison writes to thank Livingston for his news on the Indian situation, claiming "We hear from Boston there is little prospect of any warr this Summer" and his hopes that this is a sign of things to come. He also writes of the Assembly elections, "if we carry it [at Exeter] & at Albany we shall have the majority" and news from Capt. Vetch who informed the intermediary that there was "no embargo nor warr" preventing news from entering into New York or Boston. Docketed on address leaf.
