Northeast Lakeview College will host two events in the beginning of October about the long history of the Civil Rights Movement, including a screening and discussion of the film The Abolitionists. Events will take place on October 3 and October 10. There will be a welcome event on October 3, followed by a film screening of The Abolitionists and a community panel discussion on October 10 with Dr. Elizabeth Hudspeth and Dr. Gregory Hudspeth. Dr. Elizabeth Hudspeth is at Northeast Lakeview College and Dr. Gregory Hudspeth is at St. Phillips College in San Antonio, TX. These events are part of Northeast Lakeview College’s Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle public programming series.
