Providence College will host a screening of clips from the film The Abolitionists followed by a public discussion about the film. Participating in the discussion will be Dr. Patrick Been, Assistant Professor of American History, Providence College, and Dr. Chris Tinson, Assistant Professor of African American Studies, Hampshire College. This event is part of Providence College’s Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle public programming series.
