The Bryn Mawr College Libraries will host a screening and moderated discussion of excerpts from the film The Loving Story as part of their Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle public programming series. The public conversation will be moderated by Raymond Alpert, Professor of Social Work and Director of the Law and Social Policy Program at Bryn Mawr’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Several esteemed panelists from Bryn Mawr will participate in the discussion. There will be a post-discussion reception. A screening of the full-length film will be held the following week (exact date TBA).

This event is free and open to the public. Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle is made possible through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
