The Harbor City-Harbor Gateway Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library will screen the film Slavery by Another Name in three parts:

  • First Screening: September 21, 2013
  • Second Screening: September 25, 2013
  • Third Screening: October 10, 2013

These screenings will be followed by a public discussion of the film on October 17, 2013. Panelists in this discussion will include Lisbeth Gant-Britton, PhD, UCLA Interdepartmental Program in Afro-American Studies, and Bonnie Boswell Hamilton, ABC 20/20 Associate Producer, Former NBC Broadcaster. This event is part of the Los Angeles Public Library’s Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle public programming series.
