In the following letter, Harvard scientist EARL P. STEVENSON recommends dropping bomb-wielding bats over enemy territory. Throughout history, creatures large and small have been "weaponized" to attack military and civilian populations. Animals often prove unreliable as soldiers, however, and this plan was ultimately scrapped.
