Event Details

Teaching the World Wars is a professional development event designed to aid instructors who teach these conflicts in K–12 classrooms.

The event will be led by Professor Michael Neiberg, Chair of War Studies at the US Army War College and lead professor for the Gilder Lehrman MA Program courses on World War I and World War II. A panel of former MA Program students will join Professor Neiberg to discuss primary sources and methods they use in their classrooms.

In addition to the world wars, the conversation will include the current crisis in Ukraine. A Q&A session will follow the discussion. Registrants for the event will receive a coupon to purchase the self-paced versions of Professor Neiberg’s MA courses at half price. Attendees will receive a certificate for attendance for 1.5 professional development hours.
