The Gilder Lehrman Institute is pleased to invite teachers to participate in a free professional development workshop at the Hotel Indigo Baltimore and Loudon Park National Cemetery. The workshop will be held from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm ET and will feature a 3-hour lecture and Q&A with an eminent scholar, a 1-hour pedagogy session, and a 90-minute visit to Loudon Park National Cemetery. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Requirements: GLI requires all participants to be fully vaccinated and to have received a booster shot, as recommended by the CDC Guidelines. The CDC Guidelines define "fully vaccinated" as 2 weeks after the final dose in the primary series (or 2 weeks after one dose of the J&J /Janssen vaccine). Should the CDC guidelines recommend a second booster at any time prior to the event, GLI will require each participant to receive the second booster, as recommended, and participants will be notified. In order to attend the workshop, proof of vaccination must be submitted by March 9, 2022. Submission instructions will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
