Goodell sued Powell for the remainder of a bill for a steam engine Powell bought for use in a sawmill. Lincoln represents Powell, who claims that the boiler required repairs and other hardware was missing, which cost more than the $75 dollar balance on the bill. Lincoln signed as a representative of the firm of Lincoln & Logan.
