Partially printed deed with blanks filled in by hand. Cosigned by Hancock's wife Almira Russell Hancock and Adaline Russell (possibly Almira's sister) as sellers. Also signed by John F. Lee as a buyer (Thomas T. Turner, Trustee for Elizabeth W. McMurray and Rebekah Briggs, is also listed as a buyer). Records the sale of a parcel of land in St. Louis, Missouri. Describes the land. The sale was for one dollar because, as is described, the sellers were indebted to the buyers. Describes pertinent tax details. Notarized and recorded by the county, with attendant signatures.
