In report from Clark's Mt: just recd states that "a column of Infy about a division in sight is now moving down the R.R.& is nearly at Mitchells Station. The enemy's Camps are much increased about Culpepper CH. Wagon trains are seen moving towards Mitchells Station & on road from Culpepper CH to Madison CH."
The Sergt reports the atmosphere is so smoky that no observation Could be had till this afternoon.
The above report differs from those of the Scouts. The object may be to make a Sudden blow at Rapidan Station, or Some of your pickets. Keep everyone on the alert.
