Livingston, writing as the president of the New Jersey council of safety, sends Hayes a "List of disaffected Persons to be apprehended by Maj. Hay[e]s & his party, & to be sent to Morris Gaol [a jail]." The list appears on a separate page and contains the names of forty eight Tories.
