Folded into a piece of paper on which is written, "Catherine's Hobby hair." Catherine was a daughter of Gideon Savage, a Corporal of Artillery and Artificer for the Connecticut Continental Line in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. This item was originally housed in Savage's wooden chest (GLC01450.013.02) with others decimalized in GLC01450.013.
