Co-signed by Ezekiel Williams and John Lawrence as the Treasurer. Request to pay Grigg 1000 pounds for the purchase of the Brigantine Lilly Ann which was bought by David Waterbury for service to the colony of Connecticut. Signed on back by Grigg certifying that he received 1000 pounds 15 April 1776. Possibly written in Hartford.
