Chenward confirms Dodd's receipt of the sum. Chenavard's signature is followed by the initials J. T. The State of Connecticut pays Dodd for the use of his horse for an express from Boston to Providence, then to Hartford in October 1776. Dodd confirms his receipt of the sum.
