Reports that his company was ordered to go to Charlottesville but was then ordered to Louisa Court House to assume command of Louisa and Hanover counties. Writes that he is currently commander of two posts, Provost Marshall for two counties, and Superintendent of Freedmen for both [Louisa and Hanover counties].
