Newell asks for Johnson's signature on pardon warrants for Georgians Baldwin B. Miller, W. C. Jessup, W. S. Roberts, T. H. Roberts, T. J. Miller, Wiley B. Griffin, Noah Smith and Benjamin L. Lane. Hilliard, Newell, and Johnson served in the 30th and 31st Congresses.
