Possibly a copy in General Scammon's hand of a decoded cypher telegram to Scammon from Colonel Carr Bailey White of the 12th Ohio Infantry. Gives Major Cadot's report of an ambush of the cavalry: "...two men killed and five wounded asks for surgeon two ambulances and flag truce." States that he has sent these things and reinforcements. Only dated 4 July, year inferred from similar documents in the collection.
