Possibly a copy in General Eliakim P. Scammon's hand. Talks of a court case. States that Captain Williams asked him for the names of the persons that pressed charges against Hines and Carey and the witnesses. On verso is a gravestone inscription and rough sketch of a gravestone. "Sacred/To ye memory of Mrs. Elizur Holyoke Who departe this life Oct ye 17, 1657...." Undated, year inferred from similar documents in collection. Written on paper with the embossed with a stamp of Congress. Title from docket.
