Writes to Reynolds about "the Poso business," which has been managed by Hoover's son Allan, and the "prospect of getting back its money." Argues that they should get the bank to extend the mortgage and wait until next year and hope things develop favorably with regard to the tax laws. Reynolds typed response on the verso and dated 15 October 1942 addresses Hoover as "Chief." Reynolds asks that Allan come to see him and states that he was sorry Hoover did not like his outline but he still believes it contains the correct course of action. Typed from the Waldorf Astoria on Hoover's personal stationery.
