Written in the hand of Shaw, Henry Knox's aide-de-camp. Created at an artillery park at or near New Windsor, where Knox was located in June 1781. Certifies that Post has served as Captain of Artillery Artificers stationed at Fredericksburgh, New York, since 11 January 1777, and receives fifty dollars per month in pay. Asserts that Post is entitled to his depreciation in pay.
