Instructs Howe regarding the transport of stores and cannon from Boston and Springfield, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island to West Point, New York. Howe is to instruct the officers in charge of sending the stores in case they do not receive Knox's orders. The stores are to be shipped on the Hudson to West Point, and kept afloat in vessels above the chain. Written at Philipsburgh, New York (near present-day Tarrytown).
