Written from Head Quarters. Humphreys writes, "His Excellency [George Washington] desires you will please to order Ammunition & Flints to be issue to the remainder of Col. Weissenfel's [probably Frederick Weisenfels, Lieutenant-Colonel New York Levies] Regt of Levies of the State of New York, for which order the Quarter Mastr now awaits upon you."
