Asks Knox to hire more wagoners to "drive the teams which are transporting wood."

Newburgh Octr. 3. 1783.

D.r Sir,
I find it difficult to hire as many waggoners as are wanted to drive the teams which are transporting wood ; & some engaged are ordinary. If you can oblige me by ordering half a dozen good ones from the line, the Service would be greatly promoted, & much expense Saved, by discharging Such of those now employed as are negligent in their Duty.
I am respectfully
Dr Sir
