Baron von Steuben writes to Knox in French asking if he will send him an excerpt of a letter written by the Marquis de Lafayette regarding his trip to Prussia. Says everyone has interest in the place where they spent the springtime of their lives. Promises not to use it except to satisfy his curiosity. Sends his regards to Mrs. Knox.
