Has enclosed money which he hopes Knox will send to England at his first opportunity. Refers to Mr. [possibly Joseph] Compson's letter authorizing him to draw on the money, and hopes Knox will remind Mr. [James] Webber to include the letter of advice with the bill. Discusses the illness of his wife, which has limited his traveling ability. Mentions also that his son David is enrolled in a good school.
