Written from "Poplar Grove, Delaware." Is happy to hear that Knox will continue on as Secretary of War. Declares that he has written to the President and recommended Colonel John Parks for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Would like Knox to speak favorably of the nomination to the President, if he supports it.
